Codename: Panzer Phase One
I just happened to stumble across this game one day while looking for an inexpensive WWII RTS. And boy!, was I greatly surprised. This little game packs alot of punches! It looks great for such a good price. With real motion capture to all the troops it has a great vibrant feel. The tanks sway and bounce with superb physics. And the blast explosions are wonderful. Simple intuitive controls allow for quick learning, and a long time to master your tactics. This is something every RTS gamer should look for. There is a huge amount of combinations to choose from, although you may not build gigantic armies, the saying: "Less is More" truely applies. You'll find yourself using every level of tactics in this game, from long range artillery attacks to up close and personal gunfights. And if you can master the use of flame and flame-throwers you can burn your enemy crew from thier tanks and use the tanks for yourself! (Long as you have the crew for it, however an upgrade is good too.) You'll find yourself flanking like a mad man and rushing with some pretty bad-ass street battles. This game has many levels to play by your self, plus a great co-op mission setting; playing almost all the same ones you would alone. Nothing like having your allies hitting your front with heavy art as your tanks hold the line, then rush in, while your paratroopers drop behind the enemy artillery to take them out at close range. Then when your ready, you can go head to head in great 4 man teams against each other. I've only played one on one so far, and that in itself is a great thrill. The battles will truely rage on! Then just when you think your done, you'll get flanked and loose your repair truck and know its a life or death battle for control of the supply depot and high ground. No need to waste time building an Army base, your thrown right into battle with this one. Hopefully your up for the fast pace fantastic looking battles, and you can keep your wits about you while you fight for victory!! Great buy, uber fantastic play!!!Lire l'avis complet...
not great
Only one out of the two games will load and play on computer. This is true for XP, Vista, and 7. Not a great buy.
gute Echtzeitstrategie
gute echtzeitstrategie, wo verschiedene Charaktere eingepflochten sind, welche den Eindruck einer sauberen Handlung geben sollen. Mit dem historischen Huntergrund soltte man es nicht so genau nehmen, macht aber Spaß.Lire l'avis complet...
