Acrophobia anyone?

Once the action began, Cliffhanger kept me on the edge of my seat through the whole viewing. Although not a huge fan, I really enjoyed this film as well as my other Stallone favorite, First Blood. Co-starring John Lithgow, who plays a serious sinister role, Cliffhanger gives the viewer a unique panorama of the Rocky Mountains. Not prone to acrophobia, I found my stomach churning in fear around every corner. Apparently the movie was good enough to be nominated for 3 Oscars as well as 7 other nominations. Great action film (but too much foul language)

Very good action - the high altitude climbing scenes are great with great cinematography. Unfortunately there is a lot of swearing which means you may need to have your finger on the mute button too often if you have little ones..Lire l'avis complet...

One of Stallone's best

This special edition of cliffhanger comes with all the bells and whistles! The transfer is fantastic and the soundtrack is explosive. It comes with lots of special features. And above all this is the original uncut version. Unlike the UK version which was cut badly for its intense violent scenes and strong language, this can be watched the way it was meant to be watched. The leaflet inside the case tells you a lot about the production. When you stop playing the dvd, the cover picture can be seen on the screen which is cool and never before seen on a dvd. Not a huge fan of Stallone in general but......

Entertaining, engaging and a real edge of your seat movie. I love John Lithgoe (sp?). Overall, the entire cast did a great job.

The storyline is exciting, the scenery is breathtaking, love all the good guy characters, esp. Sylvester Stallone.

After the first 10 minutes I thought it was all downhill from there....but it wasn't, not too bad.
