This movie is definitely a must-see 'sleeper'.

This is a classic 'sleeper' movie; an excellent film that not many people talk about. Gene Hackman is superb in his role with an brilliant supporting cast. The movie grabs and keeps your attention while it combines emotion, drama, comedy, and mystery in a web of intrigue. The premise behind the movie is revealed mid-way along, when the truth about the dehumanization of corporate decisions is revealed through a process called 'simple actuarial analysis'. Arrived on time & plays very well. I love the movie, my professor had us watch it in class & I immediately knew I had to add it to my collection!

I've seen the movie already and I liked it and I ordered it for my collection of 80's and 90's movies

As long as the DVD is ok I should be fine.

Underrated

Funny that some say this is like "every other courtroom drama". Like A Few Good Men and The Verdict were average or poor movies? Look, if you like courtroom drama movies you will really like this one. The acting and directing alone are enough to watch it. The storyline is actually very good as well. Action & Acting at its Best

Fast paced, full of action & plot twists. While some events are predictable, the acting makes up for any misgivings in storytelling. Hackman is at his best! Excellent supporting actors deliver the goods also.

Had I known that it contains so much profanity, I would not have purchased it.
