Historical exhibit beautifully shown -- very good book - worth the money!

What a great book. I went to see this exhibit a few months ago at the Metropolitan and it was absolutely stunning -- and I assumed the book on this exhibit would be stunning as well: I was correct.>The whole book is packed with historical stills from films and garments created by lavish designers. In the back there is an index to explain each and every piece shown. In the beginning, there is a large preface. The cover feels like fabric, golden and red, as if a rough kimono was cut to be part of the book. I have never gotten any book on the subject of recent fashion (20th-21st c.) and I am incredibly pleased with this book. It is an exhibit to be in great history of the Metropolitan, and this book truly shows the wonders of it to keep as a memory to the many who have seen the exhibit, and, to brilliantly show the ones who haven't, the magnificent array of fabrics and artistic design that took place in this show.Lire l'avis complet...

Outstanding book.

Highly recommend. Beautiful and detailed pictures that have me for hours admiring them. It amazed me in every single detail.
