Catwing's Return by Ursula K.Le Guin (1991)

A very nice little book which has an interesting approach to cats, elevating them from the realm of mystery to fantasy.

It would be a nice book for child or adult who is, or isn't a cat fancier.

I bought this book as a gift for a cat rescue person who anquishes over the plight of hurt, and, homeless cats, and, is heroic in her efforts to save them.
She often ponders the fate of her charges and grieves over the loss of each and every one. I thought this book would sooth her to some degree.

We all should be more cognizant of our fellow earth creatures and the sensitivities of each and every species. This book helps you see into the depths of cat families and their interactions through the thinly veiled fantasy of flying cats. We all know cats are magical and mysterious and now this book puts wings on our furry freinds.
