This a very compelling account of a very brazen individual who was able to use the system to his advantage. The audacity of Frank Abagnale is limitless. Of course, I find myself laughing at his adeptness and ability to time and again use the system as it was then. No, he's not a hero, but his awareness of the weaknesses in our system and culture at that young an age is amazing. I'm sorry that it took me this long to purchase this book. I bought this book after watching the movie...Excellent narration with a lot of interesting aspects which gives an excitement which ever lasts till the last page of the book. Very good self-explanatory title

First of all, there's absolutely nothing I disliked about the book. In actuality, the intention of purchasing it was to replace the one that was stolen from me many years ago. It's amazing how an extremely driven high school drop-out had the intuition and stamina to avoid the inevitable consequences for such a long period of time. My hat is off to Mr. Abagnale. I know that crime doesn't pay, but this story is beyond entertaining, as most real life, true stories are. I recommend this book to anyone, especially to those whom have a defeatist attitude about life.Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent book.

The book was great, though I was disappointed that the movie put more emphasis on the comedic aspects of hunting the crook. Abagnale is a good writer, and I would recommend his other book " The Art of the Steal".Lire l'avis complet...

A book that's adventurous, funny, young and with class, you should read it.

I bought this book after watching the movie which was just as excellent as the book. The book is really captivating and also interesting, it kept me wondering what's gonna happen next whenever i read it. It tells everything in details, his way of thinking, how he handled the situations, why he did this etc. It also showed me somethings about life and how it goes.
