Great books for Cat People

Though the Author, Lilian Jackson Braun, passed away some time ago, the books are fun and an easy read. If you like cats, you'll enjoy her writing. If you're not a cat fancier. you might not enjoy them as much. I never cared for kitties much (raised with dogs always around) until we took in a rescue cat in the 70's......still taking in rescues 40 years later!Lire l'avis complet...

The Cat Who Series

I have been reading The Cat Who series for a while now and have enjoyed every one. A friend got me hooked and now I just have to read them all again from the start. The Cat Who Ate Danish Modern is the second book in the series that I had not read. I have since purchased all of the series, also on e-bay..thank you very much. Everyone will fall in love with the main character and his two Siamese cats....I would recommend this series of books to anyone that likes a book that is easy reading and a can not put down book...I also would tell them to purchase the other companion books about the characters....HAPPY READING!!!Lire l'avis complet...

The Cat Who.... by Lilian Jackson Braun

Ms Braun has a delightful style and is a master story teller. Her books are wonderful light reading. Her characters are well described and possess realistic personality traits. Her locations are painted onto one's imaginary canvas and create an urge to visit Mooseville and Pickax. Koko and Yum Yum have a fascinating role in each story trying to communicate information slightly beyond human touch to Qwill. Ms Braun has a special talent weaving her series of Who-Dun-Its that all her fans appreciate. She makes one wonder why so many people are murdered who come in contact with Jim Qwilleran. I'm glad I don't know him because I have a better chance of reaching a ripe old age.Lire l'avis complet...

The Cat Who Ate Danish Modern

I bought all of the Cat Who book series written by Lilian Jackson Braun because I have a twelve year old girl friend who borrowed the one Cat Who book that I own and she liked it. I decided to buy her all the books that Ms Braun wrote in The Cat Who Series. So I did and I am very happy to have been able to get all of the books for her. ( and I am reading them also and I love the books!!!!!!!!!!!Lire l'avis complet...

The Cat Who Ate Danish Modern

I'm a cat-lover and love reading books about cats, especially mysteries. I've read some of Lillian Jackson Braun's other "The cat who..." books and love them all. This book was an oldie but a goodie. I enjoyed the story and didn't want to put it down! It was about interior decorating which I thought would be boring but I actually found it very interesting. I loved the characters...I was sorry the story had to end! Very good book for a mystery-loving cat fancier like myself!Lire l'avis complet...
