Mud Is Good If It's A Watch

I bought this watch for one of my 17 year old high school grandson's for his birthday. He plays baseball for his high school and for a show-case team that plays in tournaments the year 'round. When he's not playing ball or studying, he's on some kind of a weight lifting work out program / cardiac improving activity constantly. Because of all of that and just the normal carelessness and forgetfulness of a teenager......I felt he needed a watch that could really take a pounding with little to no maintenance on his part and still get him to class and/or home on time. Casio a good watch for the price.

Good watch, wish I had one when I was in the Army. Always had a Casio when I was in the Army, but was the cheap one, $19 and never would die. I would wear them until the band would break and then give it to my wife to use for work. She even washed and dried one and after it cooled off, it worked fine. Yes, Casio are cheap watch's, but they work and for what you get for the price you can not beat them. Heavy duty watch

The display is simple and easy to read. Buttons are hard to push but I knew that from other reviews. keeps accurate time and the illumination is great and it’s comfortable to wear.

Ultimate watch to have

Like the looks of the Casio g9000. True to buttons are a little harder to push - but that is expected of a new watch. Also, I prefer it that way or in case I bump it into something - it is not easily changing my set screen where I want it. Casio G-Shock G9000 "mil-spec"

This is a solid Mudman G-shock in basic black. It's a bit flatter than most of the normal black g-shocks, and it's a nice stealthy contrast to the flashier watches I sometimes wear to work. I appreciate the dust proofing done to the buttons, it helps keep oil out if I'm working on an engine. However, to call this a "mil-spec" type watch is not correct. I really don't like the white lettering on the face, and if Casio was trying to make a true black on black watch, they should have gone all the way. As it is, the numbers that show in the day light always end up looking purple to me. Also, there are four "grippy" tractioned bumps on the backing plate of the watch which can rub and irritate your wrist skin if you're not used to wearing this particular watch. It's annoying, especially if you start sweating.

it's a good watch for the money.

it's light weight and nice looking. but can be hard to read numbers are smaller than my other one's.

Tough & Functional

I liked this watch so much, I bought a 9200 as well, I wish the face was larger and Casio made clear, the face size and the outer case size. But in description on eBay it does note outer diameter so an estimate can be made of the size of the face. I like larger faces for clarity and ease of reading.Lire l'avis complet...

I love the comfortable feel of it
and the durability
Haven't figured out how or why it keeps changing over to military setting
Wish it would stay one to twelve o clock mode!

Pleased with product

Does exactly what I wanted. Only draw back is that the buttons are a bit sticky or non reactive e.g. when using the stop watch I sometimes need to press the starter button a couple of times to get it going. Same applies with the other buttons.Lire l'avis complet...
