Book is very detailed fictionalized account of historical events in Carribean. That said, a lot of research seems to have gone into this as Michener's stories seem to pull from much research.

Great reading at less than 10% of cost

Caribbean by James Michener is a great read and what's better than purchasing a hard cover edition in like new condition for a few pennies on the dollar. Great seller.

I like all of Michener's books about history. What I dislike the most is all his books are so long but that is to be expected. I would not buy this particular book again but I would buy more books from him that I haven't already read.Lire l'avis complet...

BOOORRRRIIIINNNGGGG. If you were into island history it might do something for you. Not a typical Michener read except pound wise.
