Throttle cable
Had to cut off the plastic connector to carburator and solder on the correct fitting so it hooked up correct couldnt find the correct one at any parts store everyone sells the same cable other than my modification its great throttle cable Lire l'avis complet...

Works on 1998 Dodge RAM 1500 Quad Cab 5.9L v8
The old 1998 cable frayed to the point as the vehicle was, at times, difficult to drive and may have knocked-out the RAM's cruise control.
VERY challenging to remove old accelerator cable as it press fits into the firewall and the simple expanding retaining clips do a very good job of having it stay put: be prepared to fight this with a wide & long screwdriver, strong putty knife and a 45' degree needle nose pliers to "break" the old clips and installation of new cable is so easy. Again, the old cable will put up a fight and even yanking the old throttle cable doesn't get it out, but makes it easier to eventually chisel out the stubborn retainer (see pict).
