Excellent features for home users

I've been using an MX922 for the past four years when it started giving me a message that there was an internal problem, and that I needed to contact Technical Support for service. After about two weeks it would no longer print or scan. I contacted tech support and was told that I had an internal equipment failure that was not repairable. So I purchased this MX922 to replace the old one that failed. The new one works perfectly.

Looking at the Canon web site it would appear that they are easing out of the printer business. The selections are fewer than a few years ago, and none have the features of the MX922, and the ones that come close are listed as "No longer available".Lire l'avis complet...

Good at Original price of $65, now ???

I didn't say it was better than expected - considering it's used he has been a decent performer so far. When I 1st got it I had my doubts but multiple nozzle cleanings and ink pattern checks it now seems to be working fine - let's hope it continues. Overall the Pixma MX922 is an excellent printer and was deservedly highly rated when new and costing around $65. Now that they are out of production we're all at the mercy of the law of supply and demand and are having to pay 3 sometimes 4 times as much to get one - lots of good printers out there at those kinds of prices. So in summary, the Pixma MX922 is a great printer even by today's standards but the high prices make it a tough decision.Lire l'avis complet...

Can't do without it!

This printer does EVERYTHING but turn on the coffee in the morning. This printer will print and scan documents in full duplex, it prints on printable CD's which was an important decision maker for me. I wish it had a bypass for heavier paper. It looks like that would've been easy to design because it has an opening in the back for clearing paper jams. The accompanying software works very well, too.Lire l'avis complet...

Canon, quality at a good price.

My Fourth Pixma

This is the fourth Canon PIXMA MX922 I have purchased. They do work very well and I write grants so use print huge volumes of materials. My last one I had for two years and I was worried that they may not still be making this particular printer. Nice printer but SHORT lifespan.

Great printer WHILE IT WORKS !!! I am on my 4th printer in jus as many years. It prints great for every job you select - from photos to CDs to regular documents. Problem is with the CHEAP parts used to build it. ALL of them have a VERY limited life span, breaking down with errors hard or VERY EXPENSIVE to fix ( might as well buy another). So, if you are prepared to spend $400 a year for one, then it’s ok... Only wish they would be a little sturdier built.Lire l'avis complet...

Great Printer

I have 2 of these printers and I just bought this one to replace my mother's old worn out printer. They are getting hard to find new but well worth it if you see one. I wouldn't buy any printer used unless I was personally familiar with its past usage. After about 3 years my oldest one is still working perfectly and I always buy the ink cartridges on ebay at a great price.
