Had to download the printer drivers from the canon site before it would print wireless even though it said the printer found the access point and was ready to go.

Easy to set up, just plug it in and you're ready to print.
This Canon printer came as advertised and it arrived on time. I've owned this Model of Canon Printer before, so I am aware of it's quality, and the ease of which it is to set up. All printers run into problems eventually, but repair shops won't even touch a printer and they all say the same thing, "It's cheaper to just buy a new or a used printer." Apparently, they are way to complicated to fix and it's just not worth the time or money. So this is the 5th (or maybe the 6th) Canon MX922 All In One Printer that I have purchased online, and I will probably buy another used Canon MX922 when this one eventually breaks down.Lire l'avis complet...

Good to try
Same printer as I used to use. Still not sure how to link WIFI to print. That’s the only problem I feel hard to setup. Other than that, everything is good so far. Thank you!

My Mistake
Big mistake but my bad. Why did I buy a heavy, clunky 15-year-old printer for hundreds when going to Best Buy and getting a newer, lighter model of a similar printer is better?
I had an MX922 I brought from my brother after he died and I figured I would use up all the print cartridges by buying the same.
HUGE mistake. When it didn't arrive and I really needed a printer, I order one online, got one for $75, went to Best Buy, they took the dead one to recycle and I was in business.
When the clunky MX922 arrived, I set it up, it wouldn't print. It kept saying the small blank ink outlet was empty. I cleaned it with a brush, it seemed to work but then stopped.
I gave up and now it's in a closet as my "backup" printer in case the newer, lighter MG3620 dies but it's going great.
The next time I think I'm going to save by buying the same outdated printer and use up cartridges, I'm going to recall this incident.Lire l'avis complet...

Good printer

Setup difficult
I am in my mid 80's & can not get it set up. Can't get someone to help me. Therefore, since I can not return, I am stuck with an item and no way to use it!! Great Printer
This is the second MX922 I have owned. It prints fantastic photos. I print a lot of photos and greeting cards and it does a great job no matter what type of paper I use (matte, glossy, textured). The scanning software actually gives better results scanning old photos than a well regarded photo scanning software I purchased so I just use the default software. The copy feature is quick and easy to use. Unfortunately, Canon quit making this model so I hope this one lasts a long time and that Canon keeps making the print cartridges. I use the larger print cartridges by Canon (XL) and they seem to last a long time.Lire l'avis complet...

Great printer. Reasonable ink usage. Doesn't like W10
Set up is difficult, but part of that is because of Windows10 and getting all parts - printer, scan, fax - to work with my laptop. Great quality prints both BW and color/pictures.

Consistently best for the money !!
One of the best full featured small office units in the world !! Copy, print, fax. Excellent printing from drafts to frameable photos. Copy anything (except negatives). Was I expecting too much?
I purchased this PX922 because my 8year old model (the SAME one exactly) suddenly developed CODE issues that I couldn't solve with the Manual or online help. So... I thought that I'd get another & simply unwrap it & GO!!!
Unfortunately I needed a Technician to help me walk thru the various steps that it took to setup my printer for wireless use. My Tech was superbly helpful, but there was a 15minute+ wait to get him on the phone. Once connected (an American in Virginia) Derwin guided me through the hurdles calmly (awesome phone support from Canon)!
I have a bit of Buyers Remorse due to the $400 price, and no need for FAX feature. This is why I rated it as a poor value compared to modern printer prices (quality @ half the price).Lire l'avis complet...
