Great Beginners DSLR Camera!
I've been looking for a camera for my niece that was inexpensive,digital,user friendly,and a quality product. My niece requested a Canon, because all the lenses of that company are interchangable. I personally didn't like the CF card that the camera uses...I like the SD card format better. But it does take great pictures, and has been very reliable.

Aazing camera for beginners. Great quality of photos. All the features of professional camera for the low price. Great sensor sensitivity, low noise (even in comparison wiith newer models due to big pixel size). Natural colors, raw mode is very nice. But it doesn't have: 2 sec delay(only 10 sec), raw+jpeg (only raw or only jpeg) and some professional features that I don't need.
To sum up it is DSLR camera for begginers with pro image quality. It is almost exactly EOS-10D by the image quality and even firmware available that makes them similar in functionality.Lire l'avis complet...
Great camera for the price , good starter camera for a novice photographer
This is a very good camera if you want a basic starter camera , the picture quality is great when I use a telephoto lens for close-ups of pets and nature shots. On the downside when taking photos and not wanting to use the built-in flash I could not manually shut off the flash. All and all a good buy. Great camera and great money to value ratio.
Its an old school camera with all the down sides of its old age but taking to account how inexpensive it is its a really good purchase. The small and outdated sensor still provides decent quality images and the construction is rugged and very resistant. Due to this it tends to be far more heavy than more recent dslr cameras like the 400D or the 450D but how I said this camera is far cheaper and I think far more durable.
There is also and upside to the feature lacking in this camera. There is a non official firmware update that allows it a great more deal of goodies. Its a hacked version of the 10D firmware. It gives the 300D the same options than the 10D(a much more professional camera).Lire l'avis complet...

Best camera deal on eBay!
The 300D I bought when they first came out a few short years ago cost me $1100. I am an amateur photographer. I've owned several Canon film cameras, but this was my first digital SLR. I now own three of them and, for my needs I am very happy with this camera. Megapixel (MP) size is a lot more marketing than it is important for general photography and is not going to make your photos sharper or better quality, unless you are planning on making poster-size prints. If you're new to digital photography, don't believe me - look it up.

Canon Digital EOS 300D
Great condition. Works easily. Came with good lense and memory card. I am using it now and am just learning all its features. When I master it, I'm sure I'll get even more satisfaction. Excellent camera, Great Price.
This is an excellent starter camera if you're getting into dslr. It's my first foray, and while there are some extra features I would love to have, this camera doesn't overwhelm you. I haven't been able how to get the pictures to come out quite right yet, but that could be me. I can't tell if it's the camera or me at this point, yet so I have to just leave it at good in the ratings. All in all, an excellent camera for the money.Lire l'avis complet...
