Canon PowerShot D20 is an excellent camera to buy and use!
Bought this as a replacement for an older Canon Digital Camera that always performed flawlessly, until I dropped it for last time. The D20 is so much better and the picture quality is superb. Easy to set up and the menu is easy to use.

Superb weather/shockproof camera.
I searched thoroughly to find this to replace my previous Canon D20 that was stolen after many years of excellent service. Universal camera for any situation, unless you want professional quality.
Advantages:
1. Actually waterproof to 10metrov.
2. Shockproof.
3. Instantly turns on in a second ready to go.<br>4. Rapid transition from the Photo and Video for the back.
5. Video shoots amazing Full HD, HD and modes Slow Motion 120fps 640 * 480 and 320 * 240. 240fps
6. Hours (a separate issue)
7. GPS tracker and just record the coordinates in Exif
8. Unusual design, workmanship
9. Small size, can fit in your pocket
10. Acceptable image quality in most cases

12. Nice, although quite confusing menu
Disadvantages:
1. No manual mode at all.
2. No sports mode or fast-moving subjects.
3. Quality when shooting in the dark mediocre.
4. For large capacity memory card slightly retarding when saving images (not critical).
5. blur reduction system does not always cope with the task. (About 1/3 frames taken part in the movement blur the subject is out of focus)
6. part of the software will not run on XP. Under Win 7 no such problems.
Comment: I bought this camera for filming under water, and other extreme conditions. As the camera is not much selection algorithm ekspopary I do not understand.
Constantly trying to shoot at an extremely slow shutter 1/8-1/30 that ends smear. Of the car in the evening hours to remove something not real. When the sun of course, all is well. Video is his trick! Video shoots very well, which is approaching and it will capture the focus. Separately, I love the 120fps., You can remove a lot of beautiful clips.

Canon D20 great all around camera
I wanted a overall camera for taking pictures anywhere. I already own a Canon 7D, but its not always convenient to take. This camera has a great optical zoom, convenient features, like one button play and record. The auto is good also. The GPS is a bonus but does take some time to get its bearing so does not respond quickly to on point and shoot. I enjoy it and I have had other waterproof cameras also. I had an Olympus 6000 and it leaked from the start. have not tries this one in water though.Lire l'avis complet...

I bought it with a little doubt, but me and my family wanted to have pictures taken in the water as our vacations were all about water parks... great pictures it got into water under water several times works awesome I even hit against an slider floor and nothing happen to the camera, great picture, great HD quality video, overall excellent for being the size it isLire l'avis complet...
Excellent underwater, good out of it
Very good camera, being water resistant makes it a must for holidays, going to the beach and similar stuff. Other than that is a decent camera that takes very good pics, but feels a little bulky compared to other 12mp options out there. The strap attaching thing is great!Lire l'avis complet...
A great camera
This is a great little camera, which is water,and shock proof. Great for phot tking with kids at a pool or in the bath tub. the shock proof comes in handy when the kids get a hold of it and drop it and all. A camera on the go..
I really like this camera! It has everything I expect from a camera and because it's dustproof, waterproof and shockproof I don't have to worry about it when I'm on the go. Kudos to Canon!
