Printer is great but cost of ink is insane!!

I am very pleased with the printer. It prints very clear & is pretty easy to use. I didn't get a use & care book which I find unhandy. Also I didn't check on the cost of ink for it and it's crazy high--$27 for black & $29 to $31 for color. Time I buy a color cart & a black cart it will be more than I paid for the printer! It's my fault for not checking before hand. I bought another Cannon because that's what I had before this one & I really liked it & the ink was very reasonable.Lire l'avis complet...

A "Best" Decision, one of many

We're all looking for the same things: Great Performance, Great Ease of Use, Best Value for the Buck. I found it with this Canon MP240.
I've had other Canon products and I've been impressed with the Customer Care that Canon extends to their customers. It's truly remarkable.
That CS is backed by a low cost, high performance, easy to use PIXMA. The other PIXMAs I've had were larger, auto-feed multifunction machines and this model has fit the bill so much better. The scan is FAST. The printing is beatufiful and the form factor is small.
Highly recommended for home use, super-light business use or as a backup machine for a high-use environment. You simply cannot go wrong with a Canon product and their software doesn't take over your computer like HP.Lire l'avis complet...

Oldie but Goodie

My old printer had brand-new ink when it quit; therefore, I wanted another that would use the same ink cartridges. I failed to notice that the MP240 was NOT compatible with our computerr. Nephew was smart and knew how to get the drivers downloaded to help the MP240 bond with our computer. Then I just needed to run some error correction program (that I found by accident) and the job was done. Now the computer and MP240 are great friends and work well together.Lire l'avis complet...

Canon pixma 250 printer.

The printers compartment where you put cartridges is ok. It prints but it's not dark enough. The black print is not working at all. I press black button it prints in color. The color prints lightly.
But it's ok as long as I can see what I printed.

it's an old printer but works ok

1. had no installation disc so had trouble installing the printer

2. do not re-call seeing that this printer was coming from CANADA otherwise would not have bid on it

My Canon PIXMA MP240 Printer

This little printer is just what I needed. I had a MP190 but somehow I just did not get the service I wanted from a printer. I had tried several different makes and models over the years. Some were good, some were bad but this Cannon MP240 has been the best one yet. It was reasonbly priced (less than $60 and so far I have not had to change the ink cartridges, and I have done a lot of printing. Maybe just first time luck, but the cartridges are reasonable, and you don't have to pay a forturne to keep things printed up that you need. I was able to get printer shipped to my home so all I had to do was pick it up at my front door, unpack it and put it to work. Can't complain about that. I think I will enjoy my Cannon MP240 for many months to come. Thanks for allowing me time to write a review about the product and the service was great. I like it

Arrived clean and fired right up. I bought this because I have been using a MP250 for about 10 years and have just worn it out. Plus I have $100+ of ink that I want to use up. So, it works for now.

Canon Pixma MP240 AIO printer

For the price you can't ask for anything more. Yes, there are other printers with more/better features. But for the price of this one you can't go wrong. All of the featurs it has work as well as any of the many printers I have had in the past. Even photo printing is very acceptable. I like the Pixma much better then the HP it replaced. And that one cost over twice as much and had an inherant problem with the scan driver which on-line solutions failed to fix. This is my second Pixma and I will most likely stay with this brand from now on.Lire l'avis complet...

I needed a new printer.after some looking ,I decided on a canon pixma mp240.I found a great price on e bay. the printer is fastandvery clear prints. Very easy to install, very easy to use...this is coming from someone that hates to read instructions! I really think this printer prints very well and the scanner is easy to use as well. I bought this about a month ago and have had no problems at all.Lire l'avis complet...
