Canon R Control Ring Mount Adapter Helps in Simplifying Workflow
I use both the Control Ring Mount Adapter as well as the regular EF-EOS R Adapter, and I am very happy with both. However, the former is a real help in further refining and simplifying my workflow because I use the ring to control ISO. It's great to have at my fingertips an immediate way to adjust ISO rather than changing the setting in the camera's menu. Must Have Adapter if you have large EF lens Collection
As I age, the weight of my equipment becomes more of an issue. So I bought an EOS R with the 24-105 f/4 L kit and really like this combination. But I have a large investment in EF and EF-S lenses and this control ring adapter allows me to use them all on the EOS R. Have tried it with my 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L, my 75-300 f/4-5.6 L, and my 10-22 f/3.5-4.5 all without issue. The 10-22 f/3.5-4.5 did not produce the results I wanted given the cropping on the R, but it did work. I just bought the 16-35 f/4 L and am anxious to try it on the R using this adapter. I have the adapter programmed to allow me to change the lens aperture, as I grew up using manual lenses with aperture control rings and this is second nature to me. Go for the basic mount
I bought this controller to go with my new 5R. It works as described, but, after using the the 5R for a few days, I found little need for the control ring. All functions that can be programmed into the ring are readily available on the camera control buttons and knobs. Maybe I will change my mind in the future, but, I do just fine using my ef lens on the basic mount at less than half what I paid fir this one. Great build, but, overpriced.Lire l'avis complet...

Game Changer!
As a photographer it is imperative to have lightening quick access to the triangle of the 3 settings. I did not have that on my RP and it showed in most every pic I took. Since adding the control ring adapter all settings are now at my fingertips. My pictures now look exactly as my eyes see what I'm shooting. Control Ring Adapter EOS EF - RF mount
