I only use overdrive pedals to shape distortion and amp drives for high gain. I connected it before my mxr 5150 pedal and it made it sound from good to awesome. Caline Captain Silver overdrive pedal

Excellent guitar pedal! I was a little hesitant to buy this one, regardless of the positive reviews, because another Caline overdrive pedal I bought a couple of years ago makes a loud pop whenever I switch it on. But this one doesn't do that. It sounds very similar to my Ibanez TS-9 pedal in that position. The TS-808 position is brighter, so it's not as 'bluesy" in my opinion, but it might work well on some rock songs.

Great pedal for the price

It's about what you'd expect out of a tube screamer clone. The price point is great. I'm running this into the blue channel on my 5150iii w/ EL34s with the gain a little way up. I really enjoy it. Didn't care for the blue channel prior to the pedal. Lire l'avis complet...

Great pedal at a great price.

This seems to be a great little pedal. Its videos comparing it live to the Ibanez models was helpful making me to decide to purchase. And so far...... love its performance.

Cheap and Brings the Rock

Well built, sounds killer and is cheap. What's not to like. The lack of being able to put a 9v battery inside the unit may bother some people, but most are just going to stick it on thier board and power it.Lire l'avis complet...

A nice copy of a ts9 and ts808 without breaking the bank. Made it through band practice with no problem sounded just like my TS.

Great pedal

The TS808 has higher gain than the TS9 it should be on a secondary foot switch.
I will change it myself.
Other than that it's a great pedal.
