Very quiet, and well crafted! At low heat temps it's slow.
Over all I'm satisfied with this product, I might do my own cfm testing, I feel that the manufacturer might be boasting more then it puts out.
At low temperatures the blades spin nicely but actually move very little air. I had my stove top around the 200 degrees range and used smoke to see the fan's power. Smoke rising in front of the fan at a distance of 24" away from fan was only moved approximately 18" further into the room before colliding with the ceiling(10' ceiling).
I think over time this product will earn its keep, but it's really not doing much till you get around those higher stove top temperatures.

Air Movement
The model I purchased was motivated by the highest CFM (cubic feet per minute) of air movement. I need to move the heated air out of the stove room and into the main living space. Currently I used a Vornado electric fan which did the trick but is loud and used electricity. The Caframo may move the quoted amount of air but in practical terms it is insufficient. You can barely feel air movement on your hand 12 inches away.
I do love the concept of running by heat and that it is very, very quiet but more air movement would have earned this 5 stars.Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent product
I have been using this type of fan on my wood burning stove for more than 25 years. The two original ones I bought all those years ago still work fine, after being in constant daily use for 6 months out of every year. I bought this one and one like it because they are larger and move more air. They do make a difference in the amount of heat that is distributed throughout the house. Keep in mind however, they are powered by the heat from the stove itself, not electricity, so you are not going to feel the same air movement as you would with an electric fan.Lire l'avis complet...

These are amazing!. Work on a Wood or Coal stove really well. This model will work fine up to 650 degrees, which is great if you have the draft open and don't get back to it right away. Another Great point is that the Motor, If you cook it, can be replaced for around $15 Dollars. Great for directing circulation, in fact you can run 2 or 3 on top of a hot stove! I have used this product for almost a month, and I can tell you that this is fine product. It's very quiet and the blades seem have no distraction when it's on. The design of the product is well put together, very tough construction. There are no real instructions but on the box, just telling you the warnings of excessive heat and placement. I placed mine close to the back of the stove and it seems to work best there. If I had more money I would buy 2 more for the rest of my house stoves.Lire l'avis complet...

Quiet yet powerful - air circulation
This is a great fan. The air circulation coming from the blades can be felt a foot away from the stove. Great product. It is far better than the smaller fans and well worth the money. The blades keep turning at 175 degrees. AmazingLire l'avis complet...

Ecofan works very well
I saw the Ecofan on a wood wood stove in a pub and I knew I need one. I was not sure which model suits my need best. The technical explanations were great and I ordered the 812 model which worked immediately after unpacking and positioned on the wood stove.

Easy to use
Simply take out of the box, it works perfectly. Following directions, if my stove gets a little hot (above 650f) I move it away from the heat. Very silent operation. I love it!

Amazing little fan!
This is totally amazing how it works so quickly when first building a fire in the wood stove! The air circulating really makes a difference in the temperature in the surrounding areas of the house. It did such a good job, we just purchased a second fan so we can direct the heat in different directions of the house!

Excellent fan for the wood stove
I purchased this item for my wood stove in my house. It does the trick to moving air around. I would highly recommend this fan for anyone who has a wood stove that doesn't have a built in fan.
