Great replacment
Motor is quiet, runs cool, and the three sealed bearings are a good feature. Swap out of old mtr to the new was easy. The speed controller is easy to program, use and reprogram. It functions better than any external devices I know of. Perhaps an improvement needed is to upgrade the internal 24 hr timer to a real time clock. It's been installed and working for 3 days now. Will the electronics hold up? Will the mechanicals hold up? We will see. Easy to program. You receive an easy to read manual. Easy to setup - saves more than 50% on electric costs
This was an easy bolt-on replacement to my existing pool pump motor. My old 1HP motor was using 2,100 watts and costing $42 / month to run 6 hours a day. Great motor, turn single speed pump to variable cheap
This motor is a great way to upgrade to a variable speed pool pump at fraction of a total new pump cost. Exact replacement for my old motor on my Jandy pump. Digital inputs are flexible (12 to 30 v DC or AC). Only minor issue I have is the potential for water intrusion into the connection chamber. Good motor so far
I replaced my old variable speed motor with this one. So far it's been doing everything it's supposed to. The price was great considering the pool company wanted twice as much and that didn't include installation. Once you get it wired and set all the speeds and times, you are good to go.
