Awesome bumper brackets!
Awesome brackets if you’re going to do a 2003-2006 Chevy Silverado front end swap! If your truck is 1999-2002 Silverado or 2000-2006 tahoe/suburban and you’re doing a 1500 2003-2006 front end swap you will need to cut your middle frame bumper mounts and weld these brackets on but make sure they sit flush with the top of the frame! Or you can also just drill holes on the sides and bolt them on! These brackets/mounts themselves have threads and can be bolted on if you don’t have a welder. If you’re doing a 2003-2006 front end swap and your bumper is HD/has the HD top pad there is no welding required! You will need to cut your middle bumper mounts off as well but then you just use the holes your frame horns have for the original tow hooks! I believe I used M10 bolts from just my local oreillys. Take the brackets with you to a local hardware store to confirm yourself to be safe! The HD pad is bigger so that means your brackets have to sit lower and right where the tow hook holes are is pretty much perfect lining for the brackets themselves! So in other words if you plan to do a 2003-2006 front end swap try to find yourself the HD front end to make it easier on you! Worked great. Cut the old one off and drilled holes to bolt this one right on. Seem to be as good as factory.
