A Pleasant Surprise
I bought a Browning 1/4-wave for 900 some time ago. It was effective, but I was disappointed by the rather simple construction. The 5dB antenna does indeed throw a bit more signal into the ether, but better still, they've added a gold-plated, spring-loaded pin to make contact with the center of the NMO - much nicer than the 1/4-wave...Lire l'avis complet...

As advertised!
Antenna performs nicely. 900 MHz falls off sharply when you loose range and it is easy to notice the difference over a 1/4,wave with this one
