Brother has obstacles for the use of aftermarket cartridges.
Following standard industry wide practice, Brother has installed software/hardware in their printers to block the use of aftermarket or refilled printer cartridges.
You can not simply pull out an empty Brother toner cartridge and replace it with an aftermarket cartridge and expect your printer to work. At least that was my experience. The Brother software would not remove the empty toner message.
There are many solutions posted on the web explaining how to get a printer to work with after-market cartridges. Some required you to take the cartridge apart and re-assemble it, others explained how to re-program the software. I didn't feel comfortable taking screws and springs out of the cartridges and I could get none of the re-programing options to work.
It took three calls to the Brother "help" line and 3 different tech reps before I found one who understood the problem and got the printer to work. One hung up on me, I hung up on one, and the third time was the charm, total elapsed time on phone 4 hours.
If you're willing to put up with the hassle, these cartridges work fine and cost 1/6 original equipment. The print quality is equal to original equipment and I suspect they will last as long if not longer than "genuine Brother supplies".

Meets and exceeds original specifications.
First off, the price is ridiculously economical for two, not one, of these high output cartridges. I've only used it for a week and it performs the same as the factory produced cartridge. I can't comment yet on how long the ink will last because I've only had it installed for a very short time, one week. The print quality is great, clean and clear with the right color shade. Toner cartridge TN630/660
Finally used one and compared to another cartridge. Seems to work pretty good. A little of light shading, but that may be due to the print drum assy. I will have to replace that to really make an accurate review, but at this point in time, these appear to be great cartridges and I do recommend them!Lire l'avis complet...

Quite the value! Purchasing your Toner Cartridges this way is the ONLY way to go! BIG Savings! And these Cartridges print just as many as O.E.M.
I have purchased these toner cartridges numerous times and I have had great luck with them thus far. Other than one mishap where one of them poured out the ink powder all over itself but luckily it was still sealed in its wrapper. Lire l'avis complet...

Superb product and service
Firstly exceptional service. I use to have frequent problems with toner boy color and black. After I bought from V4ink all issues are gone. Their product works flawlessly Everytime. I am using in 2 black printers and one laser. Superb results.

I would purchase the items again
I receive the items on time. However, when I installed the cartridge, my printer show, "REPLACE TONER." After about 20 minutes and checking the printer and settings, I finally got it to print. Very pleasantly surprised. Deserves 6 stars
First, the review page asked, "Does it dry quickly?". It's toner. It isn't wet.
Anyway, I wasn't sure this would be any good. I mean four for half the price that one costs me from the company I bought my printer from? I bought them anyway.
When I put the first one in, I didn't slide the slider back all the way (it cleans part of the machine; you slide it one way, then back to it's starting point), and the first few sheets of each page in a print job were great, but the rest were smudged on one side. I really think that was because I did not push the slider far enough into its home position (even though I did it later, it didn't help).
Recently, I put the second cartridge in, making sure to slide several times and to put the slider all the way to its home position. I have had zero problems with smudging, and I have printed a lot.
I cannot say whether it actually prints as long as the high yield I had because I can't find out how to find that info, but it does print a lot. My subjective opinion is that it does print out a lot more than the smaller cartridge from the company my printer came from.
The only real problem I had was that the printer no longer tells me I'm short on ink. I had printed out a lot of pages (maybe 40) before I realized that the ink was too faint to see very well. I think that was because the Brother cartridge has something in it that connects to the printer to notify of low ink. The way around that is to check the ink level periodically. For my printer, I go to Brother Utilities on my desktop, open it, and click on status monitor. It shows a picture of how much ink is left.
UPDATE: I just put in the third cartridge toner a day or two ago, and printed out a LOT. No smudging with this cartridge (I'm thinking the smudging was something I did or didn't do). I am about ready to buy another set of toner cartridges.Lire l'avis complet...

Good Product at a reasonable price

Good product.
It does what its supposed to do. It works well for me. I only buy Brothers, afraid to try the off brands as I had a bad experience once and my printer was never the same again.

TN660 Toner Cartridge for Brother Printer
Always a little skeptical about using non-OEM cartridges on my printers, based on past performance problems and adjustments to operation.
