Great Product for Small Office

Printer is rather heavy, but has a nice small footprint for my office. Was easy to set up and get connected to my WiFi. It is doing double duty as a printer for a doctor's office as well as for my small business (am a candle maker and print my own labels, invoices, etc.). Am very pleased with the print quality in B/W as well as color. I love the 2 sided printing feature and is easy to use. Have read other reviews about time needed for 1st print. It works great for me. For the office forms I usually am printing about 10-15 copies at once. By the time I get from my laptop to my office in another room the print job is usually already done and ready to pick up. I have only had the printer a short time (a few weeks), but love it so far. It is doing everything I need. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for small office work. Can't say how it would do with heavy use. Would have been a good buy new at full price, but an excellent buy as a used demo model at a discounted rate.Lire l'avis complet...

Good Practical Printer but with limited lifespan

I found this printer to be very practical. It's fairly easy to setup, even with the limited user interface. It takes a little time to setup wifi. But this printer gave me very little fuss, unlike the HP printers I have owned. The toner is less expensive (per page) than any other laser printer and there is a hack to make the toner last longer (google it). Make sure to buy the Brother ink only, as I've seen the OEM toner be problematic (toner flakes off the paper).

The only gripe I have has to do with the defective fuser that these printers are built with (the rollers). They start disintegrating after a few thousand sheets. Everyone encounters it. Brother warranties it's printers for a year IF you buy them at brick-and-mortar establishment. For those that use the printer a lot, you will encounter this problem in under a year. For others, you will find yourself outside the warranty window. It cost about $100 to $150 to buy a new fuser and Brother recommends that you have a professional do the installation (even more $$). This was a great buy.

Thanks to a downloaded manual from Brother and a couple of YouTube videos I was able to get the black toner working. I don't do a lot of printing so this just sits there most of the time. It stays in "Deep Sleep" mode and goes right to work without having to go turn it on.
Being a laser printer I don't worry about the ink drying up and clogging the print head. That's a HUGE plus for me.Lire l'avis complet...

I love Brother Printers!

I haven't had it long, but does a great job of printing, duplex as well, I have a MFC-L2740DW Brother printer as well, and love it. I had another Brother Laser printer for years, and it was very reliable, that is why I have the two brother printers now! What I like about Laser Printers is that unlike Inkjet printers, the toner does not dry out, clog the print heads etc, and is always ready to go.Lire l'avis complet...

Big but nice printer

Nice printer. Black and white printouts are very good. Color printouts are not exceptional but definitely acceptable.

Brothers are the best!

My last Brother color laser lasted me more than 10 years. I paid less than half for this new one and it is faster, quieter and prints beautifully, even does 2 sides in one pass. Well made and tight fitting

Nice dust cover for the printer. It's a little snug in the back where the power and networking cables go in, but it's manageable.

Brother refurbished laser printer

Perfect replacement for the identical unit we had. Prints perfectly on any weight paper. Conveniently supplied with new toner and drums. Shipping package was very sturdy and done well.

No problems here!

I've had this printer for a couple of weeks now. I haven't used it enough yet to know how long the toner lasts, but I don't have any complaints. It prints fast, and good quality prints.

Laser color printing at a very affordable price.

It was a coin-flip between this Bother and a comparable HP model. But after researching the cost of the replacement toners cartridges, the Brother won has down. Print quality is very good with surprisingly accurate colors. Networking can be wired or wireless and very easy to set up. I do wish the printer was smaller and lighter, but for this price I cant complaint.Lire l'avis complet...
