Great unique FPS

First things first DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IF YOU DO NOT HAVE LIVE! That out of the way, I love this game. The single player is the same thing as the multiplayer except with AI that is special needs. Online, this game is incredibly fun. Team based FPS's don't get much better than this. Originally it had some issues with graphics and lag. At the time of this review, the patch to fix the lag issues is due to come out within the next couple days. The game itself is a mix of Team Fortress and Mirrors Edge. The free running is a great addition and I disagree with other reviews that say the levels are not designed for it. Once you realize how to use it, the game completely opens up and you approach tactical situations completely differently. Not worth $60.00. But if you can buy it for $7.00, give it a shot.

This game was only half-baked. I think lack of focus on K/D ratios had good intentions but ended up with a less gripping experience. The multiplayer is focused 100% on objectives and that is indeed a different twist from most FPS games. But Brink has a very short campaign and too small of a community for online play. Its not easy to get multiplayer lobbies together. The graphics suffer to a degree with a lack of color. It takes 200 rounds to drop a single dude and then another 30 to kill him all the way. Not realistic for a guy wearing a tank top and some jeans. Weapon add-ons must be unlocked through a series of challenges (objective based) and they can be done co-op but that only increases the difficulty. But all in all, it is a diamond that will remain in the rough because Bethesda is done with this one. It isn't all bad. The parkour movement system is awesome. It moves much smoother than Call Of Duty. No getting stuck on a soda can on the ground. There is a vast array of guns with customizable parts. Character classes with unlockable abilities and of course, the ability to design your player's looks and outfit. As cheap as this game is now, its worth picking up just to jam on it. Overall I can say its a great game for some but doesn't hold up with COD.

Brink.... I've followed the development for this game nearly 3 years and finally its out! Brink has nice detail in Character customization but the honest truth is that the game is surprisingly....BORING. I'm assuming the experience is 100 times better on a beast PC just for the simple facts you have better control of the game and the graphics are sharper. I was convinced I had bought a burned copy of the game because of the terrible compression on the Opening cinema. I have a very quality hdtv with high bit rate hdmi and the game just doesn't cut it visually for the xbox regardless of your tv set. Oh and I forgot most of all... THE VOICES ARE REALLY REALLY REALLY ANNOYING! You will appreciate the American accent after giving this game a go.The sum up my experience with the game... Very good game !!!!

Greatness is rarely achieved without ambition. Jumping into the battlefields of Brink, you get the immediate sense that you are playing an ambitious first-person shooter. Four interdependent soldier classes and three distinct body types combine to create a diverse array of ways to kill your enemies, support your allies, and move around the battlefield. Brink's team-based skirmishes are rich with opportunities, but they are also plagued with technical problems and design shortcomings. Visual issues and online lag frequently interrupt the fast-paced flow, and problems with the movement system and the artificial intelligence can be downright frustrating. Good game...better than what others may say.

Well.....

So many people give this game a bad rap. It is an action "Counter Strike" style first person team shooter that can be played offline as well as online. I didn't check out any of the rooms to play online but I do enjoy the game so far. The characters are drawn different than usual games and I like the class variety. Gameplay Underwhelming

Got this game for my daughter. The graphics weren't bad but she said the gameplay was confusing and underwhelming.

This game is worth the money!

Brink. Brink is a game about the future which takes place at the ark. A floating city which they have a war going at the ark. So would you save the ark or escape the ark. Well there are 2 teams. Security and the Resistance. And in the game you can costumise your own character and own guns. Well that is not all. Well this game has great graphics, amazing features, and great quality. I would recomend this game for the people who are reading. On 1 out of 10 this game is umm a 9.5. But it's still a great game. So if you like this game, your making the right choice. good game

This game is better than the reviews iv seen.Iv seen alot of bad reviews on gamestop.com and youtube but this game is good.Theres over 20guns in this game with customizations to all of them.The gun customizations are 3different red dot sights,scops,g-launchers,grips,larger mags,taped mags and a few more.Also the person customization is really good.You can customize your hair,hats,shirts,jackets,pants and some face paint.

Bring something new to the table not the same thing over and over again....

Its an "Okay" game to be honest with you. The campaign mode is like the "Call of Duty" online play. I am not the biggest fan of it since I rank Call of Duty higher than this game. To me it gets boring after awhile. I find it as a "knock off Call of Duty online multiplayer". I would say this game at best would be something that you would want to rent one night from Redbox. I rate it 1/5 stars for poor creativity.
