Fun, useful, great sounding, easy to use, bang for your buck.

Great pedal. Heaps of features, easy to use, takes about 5 min to nut it out without the manual.
Its smaller than you think, I was expected something bigger but it fits in very well with my other pedals. Woud be nice to jump to certain presets instead of scrolling through but thats life.

Used Boss DD-20 Giga Delay

I really enjoy using the Boss DD-20 Giga Delay pedal.
I've owned three of these units, currently utilize two of them. The fact that there are multiple delay choices/options and an extended range of delay times is very appealing for my use. Solidly built and quite reliable for road and/or studio utilization this unit is quiet and performs well under so many different musical circumstances/situations especially considering it has four 'memory' slots for various delay choices all at the tap of a switch.

Having a platform as vast as this unit, there will always be concerns or a WISH List for enhanced performance capabilities, such as being able to get a decent delay volume without the volume knob having to be set more than 3/4 of the way up before a usable volume can be achieved.
Compared to what this pedal can bring to the creative experience that is a minor inconvenience, but worth noting as it could be a major issue for certain users. I highly recommend this unit by Boss, to my knowledge it has been discontinued and prices seem to be easing down to realistic levels so delay enthusiasts can relish this out dated but truly outstanding Giga Delay unit.
Boss has updated this unit with the DD-200 and DD-500 Delay pedals, with the DD-500 having deep editing capacity, much deeper than the DD-20 allows. That being said this pedal is no slouch and performs beautifully. Lire l'avis complet...

Versatile

Quite the selection of delay modes to choose from and tweak. Select vintage through modern delay types with the included ability to add in special dynamics via the second pedal.

The best digital delay out there! Great value!

Of all the delay's I've used, this one takes the cake! If you're not big into looping but need a good clean delay, this one's it! All the presets are great and the tone is super transparent. I have 2 of these suckers for my acoustic and electric rig and they work like a dream. The only major suggestion I have is to get a Boss FS-5U tap pedal because the tap on this is a bit tricky on the fly. With the tap pedal though, this is seriously the only delay you will ever need! I did a lot of research and narrowed my search down to the "eventide timefactor" and the "boss dd-20". I went with the DD-20 because I was able to order 2 for a bit more than 1 timefactor costs and I also found that the timefactor can be a bit noisy. Perfect addition to a pedal board. I use it with my band as well as a practice tool.

I was presently surprised that it was as good of pedal as it is. I've owned a few loop pedals and this one is the best so far. The price was great and you can never go wrong with Boss pedals.

Great Delay

I bought this delay after reading and watching at a lot of reviews. I'm sure there is someone with a keener ear than mine who could tell a big difference between the Boss and a more expensive delay but I don't hear that much of a difference.This delay is new to me and I'm still learning to use it to its full extent but I am very happy with it now. The only fault I have with it is when it is in SOS mode and it plays back the track you recorded it sounds like it needs more volume. I thought it was harsh sounding.

I thought it was harsh sounding. To be fair, I used it in an effects look installed in a 1973 Marshall 100 watt Super Lead. I bought it at Guitar Center and quickly returned it in favor of my trusty Boss DD-2 Digital Delay. I was experiencing harsh high frequency artifacts in the effect sound.
I replaced it with the DD-2 and it sounded so much better. Too bad, because the DD-20 has so many nice features.Lire l'avis complet...

Boss DD-20. One of the best delay pedals you can find.

This was a fantastic find and a great pedal to use. Not only does it do all of what a new Boss DD-20 pedal should do but the condition was excellent.

I bought this pedal in tandem with a TC Electronic Nova delay to experiment with multiple delays. I haven't explored the depths of this pedal yet but it's versatility is quite varied.

On the whole, I'd recommend anyone who is interested in getting a great delay pedal to consider the Boss DD-20. It's well worth the investment into your sound.Lire l'avis complet...

Amazing pedal for the price

Delaying my Enterance to Heaven !

I have owned may pedals in my time ( 45+ years).This pedal is one of the best delay pedals I have come across....extremely versatile. What attracted me the most to this pedal is the ability to store custom settings. Although it only has 4 banks of memory, .that's 3 banks more than I have. .if you need more than that, maybe you shouldn't be playing guitar !
