I'm an architect, but a first time Laser measurer user.
I am very picky about the aesthetic, functionality & quality of my purchases.
I researched many laser measurers before selecting this one.
You never know about the quality or functionality until you get the product.
I am very very happy with this model.
I couldn't tell from any of the reviews what size the unit is, but it is small, lightweight and extremely accurate.
It's a digital component - #'s/fractions are easy to read (I have bad eyesight) Color is great.
The unit is probably more fragile than a smartphone, so you should try not to drop it -
I am happy with the quality
I don't do a lot of outside measuring, but I can see the laser beam outdoors, if I have some flexibility in where I take my measurements in regard to sunlight.
I think all of the features are easy to use & comparable to other laser measurers in the same price range.
Bosch said this was a newer model/upgrade from the GLM 40

More accurate than expected.
I was skeptical at first, even though I know many finish carpenters use these types of devices for trim work. Well, I did some measurements at several different distances from 2 to 15 feet and this model is definitely accurate to within 1/16" as advertised. The color display on this is great and doesn't have the visibility problems that some of the lower-end bosch laser measurement devices have. Also, the indirect measurements work nicely. Since it has a built-in level measurement, the amount of measurements to indirectly capture height or distance is reduced to one.Lire l'avis complet...

Works great for me!
This little unit has some great features! I especially like the fact that it can do "indirect" measurements in three different ways. As an example, to measure how high my chimney is, I used an indirect mode where you point the laser to the top of the chimney from a point out in the yard, and then again at the base of the chimney. Since it knows the angles, it calculates the height.
Granted, it needs to be a little dark outside to see the laser, but it worked great. Very fast and very accurate.Lire l'avis complet...

Laser measure is the best on the market
Easy to use, intuitive controls, very lightweight, fits into a shirt pocket easily so you can bring it anywhere. Only complaint, outdoors on a bright day, you can't see the red dot easily even at only 50 ft. The holster needs to be stretched out before the GLM will fit into it at all; I took a medicine pill bottle and shoved it into the holster, and soaked the nylon fabric with water, and left it out to dry naturally over a day or two. Then the laser measure fit into it, snug, but it fit. Overall, I've seen and used other devices like this, but this is the best by far, and is an outstanding value.Lire l'avis complet...

Like having two extra hands!
I can't count how many times I need to measure a wide expanse that has objects in the way making it impossible to lay a tape on the floor to measure it. Tape measure, I don't care how thick will bend in the middle without support... This solves these problems and is much quicker! And accurate! Outstanding features at a great value!

Very compact and accurate.
Mainly use it to measure distance. Haven’t tried other features.
A bit difficult under sun light.
It has rubber around the sides, so it should provide some protection.

This thing is amazing! If you looking for a laser tape at all just get this one!! Simple to use and read. Very accurate! The laser is easy to see where it is pointing!!
