Reminds me of Nashville

Great film. Highly recommended. Reminds me of Robert Altman's "Nashville" just set in Van Nuys CA of the adult film industry in late 1970's.

Dirk Diggler is the MAN!

I love this movie! It's loosely based on the story of John Holmes, and his rise to fame (no pun intended)...and downfall from drugs. Mark Wahlberg plays the lead character, "Dirk Diggler", and gives a great performance... The soundtrack, mostly disco and early 80's era, is awesome. Boogie Nights is my favorite film of all time. Great ensemble cast, and the whole entire film flows together great.
