Bodum Shin Bistro 10600-16 8 Cups French Press is excellent. The coffee can be made in 6 minutes. I nuke my water. While water is heating, I add the amount of coarse coffee, to the glass unit. Pour water into the glass unit, stir and wait 2-3 minutes. Enjoy your coffee, with less acid taste.
I'd recommend this to everybody. It is easy to clean. After I have my 2 mugs of hot coffee, I add 8 oz. of cold water to the glass unit. Let it sit for awhile and pour into a tall glass. Before dinner I enjoy a glass of iced coffee, with milk.

We love the French Press! The screen is excellent and prevents any coffee grinds form coming through. I had bought another sieve to place over the cup just in case, but we didn't even need it! The glass is sturdy and survived being dropped in the sink accidentally. The design is sleek and the item is very easy to use. We love it and the coffee always tastes fresher than the coffee pot we already own. I would highly recommend a Bodum if you are thinking of buying this item.
