I began collecting the earliest Barbies this year, as these will be the dolls treasured by the new generation of collectors, those born in the 60's and 70's. However when I began to receive books and magazines displaying the special newer Barbies like the Bob Mackie designs and the new Medusa 3 doll group,and some limited editions, I could not resist. I particularly loved the Neptune Barbie for it's fabulous design and out of the box creativity.She has been an outstand addition to my collection.
