I love the speed dial voice call

Lots of smart phone now when using voice dial would need data. This is the only headset that you can use voice call by activating inbuilt speed dial commend. I love it.
It would spell out the incoming phone number and would help you identify who is calling you. Lots of inbuilt commands help you reconnect the phone, redial, call back, check batteries...which is very convenience.

I have tried other blueant headset, however, without speed dial voice call, it would be hard to make a call without data, or without touching the phone.

Don't like it...

I guess probably because it is an older discontinued product.. but in my opinion it's not it's price worthy. The sound is too cheap even at maximum volume. It has an extremely lightweight grip, I move my head and this thing feels like it's going to fall off my ear. The battery is like 2 1/2 hours.. It constantly freezes, if I'm talking with it and it loses phone connection it doesn't work or do anything, I can't even turn it off until I connect it to the charger...the latest update made like 15% better but still, there are a lot of better headsets out there.
Probably worth like 20$ in my opinion and only if you don't use a Bluetooth regularly. If you need a bluetooth for work or constant use like me...search for a better, newer model.

Very disappointed

I have a BlueAnt T1 that i really like. But when I changed phones to a Samsung Galaxy Proclaim the T1 wouldn't pair with it. I did a google search and found that the Q1 would and bought one. As soon as the T1 pairs with a phone it downloads your contact list from it, the Q1 doesn't. When you have an incoming call the T1 will announce the name of the caller if the call is from someone in your contact list. Otherwise it will announce the incoming phone number. The Q1 will only announce the incoming number. With the T1 you can call anyone in your contact list by saying call then the name. If you are calling someone not in your contacts you can say call then the number. The Q1 will only call a number. Both have a very low volume for incoming calls, a problem I've had with every Bluetooth headset I've owned. The low volume issue is strange because both the Q1 and the T1 have a voice that tells or asks you certain things. Not only is that convenient but that voice is very loud which means the call volume could be just as loud but it isn't. There are other things I don't like about the Q1 but you get the idea. In my opinion a person would be much better off buying a basic Bluetooth for $20 than buying the BlueAnt Q1.
If your phone will pair with a T1 buy it, you'll like it much much more. You can get either for about the same price on Ebay. If I haven't convinced you to not buy a Q1 this should. The T1 uses a now nearly standard micro usb charging port. So all the like chargers you have for other devices will work. The Q1 uses a purpose built usb port and charger plug. Nothing else will work which makes them much more expensive than the micro or even the mini. If you still want a Q1 make sure you buy one that comes with a charger. Otherwise you may pay nearly as much for a charger as you do for the Q1. especially if you want a second wall or usb or car charger.

Great first Bluetooth. Very reliable....works well.

First time user of a Bluetooth and so far i like this one just fine. I use it just for driving with an iPhone 4 so I don't have it in my ear all day. Voice commands work great. No problems with sound. Its very clear and the people on the other end say it sounds great. Has about a 30 ft. range from the phone before it disconnects. Battery life seems to be great too.... No complaints. I give it a 4 out of 5 only because I haven't tried anything else.Lire l'avis complet...

Defective

This item was from salvation army labeled new in a box, turned out not to be new and was defective. It was a donated item
Use extreme caution when buying from salvation army. You never know what you are getting. If it had been tested they would have known it was defective.Lire l'avis complet...
