Good Deal and works great!

Works well, runs on batteries and easy to set up app and install outdoors. These were add-ons to a blink outdoor camera system that included the sync module. Buying them on eBay saved me a ton, the cameras were sold as used but they looked pretty darn new to me. Five Stars - This is the first review I have ever written. If I could give this product TEN STARS, I would. Before I bought the Blink Outdoor Two Camera System I did a lot of research. Nearly all of the other systems on the market had one or more of three deal breakers. 1) they were corded and needed either an outlet (outdoors) or to be hardwired. 2) If battery operated they had a very, very short battery life – sometimes less than a week. And 3, they did not have internal storage and required a subscription, usually $5.00 or more a month for external or cloud storage.
Blink cameras are battery operated with a battery life expectancy of up to two years, but the best feature is you can plug in a cheap thumb drive into the system and have unlimited local storage. All the settings can be operated remotely, including motion detection sensitivity and recording time. Settings can be set individually for each camera as desired. You can view, save or delete, all the clips anytime, anywhere. If you don’t need to store videos, you just delete them from the thumb drive.
It took less than ten minutes to install the app on or devices, and another five minutes to install each camera. We liked the system so much, we bought as third camera for our patio door.

Much better than expected

Battery operated cameras can be a problem, but it seems Blink has addressed the major issue which is battery life. I have not had these cameras long enough to see if their battery life claims are true, but so far they have outlasted everything I have previously tried. Picture quality is very good. Connectivity is robust. I have tried to put the hub in the worst possible places away from the cameras and it continues to work. A momentary power glitch caused it to freeze up, but that also happened to other online gear in my home. I will continue to add cameras as needed. Lire l'avis complet

Easy to install and works great.

Very easy to add to existing system. The image quality is excellent--super clear and great colors.
Camera is easy to mount and align. The 2 way talk feature is a worthwhile feature and works great. I am greatly impressed with the camera and may order another to cover security on a backyard shed.

Does all that I need

This system has all the features you would expect and more. So easy to install and set up. Night vision is great and the video is excellent. Have already recommended to neighbors and they have Blink now. Our Cove is more alert now that we all “Blink”.Lire l'avis complet

Awesome with great features

This product actually lives up to its name.... Just blink and you are where you want to be, seeing what matters most to you. Love the fact that the device is quite easy to operate. Sadly though it is not a full time recording device.Lire l'avis complet

Usable but not the best for the price.

No instructions included but easy to add and connect. Everything works great except it has weak sensitivity to movement. Will not trigger until movement is within 10-15 feet and sensitivity turned up high. When sensitivity turned up high it triggers a lot even without movement, possibly from picking up noise. Still usable but there’s probably better products out there for same price. Never been used but open box as described so giving it at least 3 stars. It is a used camera but camera functions as all the rest. This was a great camera at a discounted price. I haven't installed them yet but they look just like the original and I'm happy with Blink brand. Just note: the "stands" that fit in the wall to screw in is not in this price nor packaging. It is just the camera and the plastic screws to make it ready for installing in the stand. But, I bought the stands on Amazon for decent price!Lire l'avis complet

Great outdoor camera

The camera works great as an add on to the ones that I already have. Plus they now have the talk back feature in this newer model.
