So glad I found these!
I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The Homar elastic "no tie" shoelaces look like regular shoelaces, they really stay put and they help ensure that the process of putting on and taking off tennis shoes is an easy one. Elastic shoelaces may not be a big deal to the average consumer, but as the mother of a very big eight year old who struggles with fine motor skills, I couldn't be happier knowing that I can now purchase any shoe for him and he'll be able to independently put the shoe on and take it off because of these shoelaces.
If the maker of this product were to do commercials for this shoelace, I'm certain that they'd sell far more than they do currently. Well, on second thought, maybe they don't need commercials because I've spread the word to many others (I'm sure other buyers have done the same) and definitely plan to purchase more.
One more thing to add: Placing the shoelaces into the shoe is a tad bit difficult, but the little tool that comes with the package and also the directions come in very handy. Therefore, be sure to take the time to read the directions and use the little tool.Lire l'avis complet...

Great assist for stroke survivors
I'm a stroke survivor with chronic hemiplegia on my left side which means that my left arm and hand are weak and effectively dysfunctional. These laces, once inserted, allow me to put on, take, off a variety of shoes that would otherwise be 'off limits' for me. They look good too!Lire l'avis complet...

Better than the old shoe laces
Love them. Just replace your old shoe laces with them. The look like shoe laces, but you just slip your shoes on and off. No more bending over to tie them.

I don't wear shoes in the house.
I like to be able to slip in and out of my shoes as I don't wear shoes in the house. Shoes look good too.

Not for everyone
These are probably fine for causal or kids shoes. I don’t know that I’d recommend them for athletic shoes or any time you need real support. Under stress they can pop loose.

Nirvana!
I bought this one time before by accident and was so surprised how wonderfully they work. I hate tying shoe laces and this cant be any closer to Nirvana for me.
