If you liked "Top Gun" you'll probably like this.

the production values were pretty decent. the CGI work was Hollywood level mostly. the characters were pretty stock as were the character beats. that said, the story was pretty well executed and managed to avoid excessive flag waving (not easy in this kind of movie). personally, I'm jazzed that someone finally made a movie that features the F-15 as the main plane. Love it!! Much better than Top Gun!!

The action scenes were impressive and didn't look like stock footage or CGI. It was funny and engaging, and kept my interest the whole time. I've watched it about 25 times.
