Love this steamer. It does rice, potatoes, green beans, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and best of all, it does Butternut squash in one hour. Simple slice the butternut squash in half lenth-wise, scoop out the seeds, put half in one basket and half in the 2nd basket and set it for 60 to 70 minutes. This steamer is AWESOME!!

I used to own a steamer similar to this one by Black & Decker, and wanted another like it. It is so great to just fill the bottom with water, peel and chop some vegetables, and set the timer! I sometimes use herbs/spices but sometimes just salt and pepper is fine since the veggies always end up great-tasting without having to watch pots on the stove boiling over. I love that I can just toss most of the steamer parts into the top rack of the dishwasher or wash them quickly by hand and I am done. I love this black and decker steamer. I have had one for over 10 years and needed to replace the plastic part that holds the vegies. Excellent Product

I love this steamer the only issue is that you have to careful removing the lid and the "ring" divider so you don't burn yourself but other than that its a great tool for your kitchen!! I love cooking several vegetables while I cook whatever meat I'm cooking elsewhere!!Lire l'avis complet...

Awesome product! Great value at any price.

I'd been looking for a steamer that also cooked rice similar to this one. I like the fact that it uses water instead of a heating element, which tends to burn the rice. This appliance is wonderful!
