Greatest Modern Saga of All Time
The story of Bionicle is a very unique concept that follows the 2001-2009 LEGO toy series. The series starts off fairly simple when 6 heroes show up on the shores of the island of Mata-Nui. Their true purpose and origin shrouded in mystery. The books do a great job at unfolding itself and answering question while still presenting more mystery. This of course make the Bionicle story very deep and complex. While some may argue that the complexity of the universe is overwhelming, I find it quite enjoyable and it requires the reader to research and theorize on the motives and functions of things within the universe. Lastly, the 2 authors do a great job with character development and expressing emotions.
Now with regards to the size of the books, they're fairly light. Each book is large font and contains around 125 pages each. Each book can be read through fairly quickly, but they transition very well into the following book which picks up right where the other one left off. That being said, reading the 29 books in the series would be similar to reading a much larger novel with a lot to think about.
I highly recommend reading the series and it truly is a story that's easily enjoyable by people of all ages!Lire l'avis complet...

Awesome book
I'm collecting the Bionicle books and this was my last 2006 book to buy. It's about six Toa, the Toa Inika who must fight the Piraka to free the island of Voya Nui and to revive the Great Spirit from death with a mask, but have to fight it's terrifying guardians and pass through fearsome places and chambers.Lire l'avis complet...
