5 HOUR waste of time~ a total BORE~ 1 STAR lemon

PLOT: bed hoping Benito Mussolini becomes a socialist and the VERY early years of his life~ 5 hour mini series~

EVEN Antonio Banderas cannot save crappy BADLY written bio~~ a handsome Benito Mussolini (Banderas) is busy bed hoping and expressing his socialist views~ this movie only leads up to World War 1. WHAT a total yawner~ costumes are good~ what can I say about a total missing plot? hard to follow~ drags ~ the first 3 hours were horrible and I hoped the last two would improve it~ surprise they were even worse~LOL ~ I made it thru the last two using my FAST forward button~ I give this LOUSY movie one star~ I would give it a MINUS zero but the lowest I can give is 1.
Avoid this total waste of time~ I would recommend George C. Scott in Mussolini the Untold Story if you can even find a copy of it~ a much better miniseries~

Entertainment, yes. But only a fraction of the whole story.

Contrary to the implied, the setting begins with his early days as a school teacher and ends in 1914 as a journalist with AVANTI. In between is a long and boring Hollywood romp as a devout socialist activist and lady chaser. with another 5 minutes to the run time it could have a least illustrated how his experiences in world war 1 left him completely opposed to socialism in favor of fascism. For the low cost, I'll keep it for entertainment but it is certainly not in my documentary collection.Lire l'avis complet...

If tempted to buy this video, don't!

If tempted to buy this video, don't do it. The characters are unrealistic. The acting and dialogue are TERRIBLE. I was only able to stomach watching it for about 15 minutes. UGH!

worst of the worst

bad movie isn't the word , not the sellers fault I left a positive feedback, but I guarantee you Mussolini must be spinning in his grave lol it wasn't bad enough it was dubbed , I think the guy that did the dubbing for those horrorif chinese kung fu movies did this one GRADE ZLire l'avis complet...

Great Movie

This was purchased for my dad who loves Mussolini. I thought he would have to watch it in English until I opened the package to see that it was also in Italian. I watched the movie with him. I would recommend it.Lire l'avis complet...

Forget it

If you like forced laughter and lousy dialogue you'll enjoy this movie. Otherwise, find something more productive to do with five hours.
