It worked for us.
We needed something to boost the signal upstairs so Netflix would work. This worked just fine, and we also now have good Wifi in all the upstairs bedrooms. I placed the booster in the bedroom just above the room with the router.
It was pretty easy to install, it would have been easier if it had been brand new and I didn't have to use an Ethernet cable to set it up and reset it to factory settings.Lire l'avis complet...

Took a bit to set up. Needed firmware update and after that a little user experimentation.
I had to call their support and it took a little bit, but I got it working. He had to upgrade the firmware and I was able to set it up ok. The first place I had it was in the wall socket in a room through a wall from my router. Maybe 20 feet in a direct line. Didn't get much in the way of reception. I put it on an extension cord same spot, but about 4 ft high but it was laying on its side with the antennas pointing horizontally. Still not great reception and transmission sucked as a result. Then while still leaving it on its side, but pointing the antennas up, it worked like gangbusters. I can now get 5 gjz wifi reception across the street about 50 ft or more. Tiny but powerful!
I am very pleased with my purchase. It arrived a couple of days earlier than originally predicted and it was mostly easy to plug in and get going. I had a few glitches in the beginning, but that was my fault for not following directions perfectly. At any rate, we are able to stream movies now with no buffering or delays. I highly recommend this as an easy fix to wifi dead spots in your house. I haven't tried doing anything in the back yard or garage, but I have no doubts that it will work very well in those areas. Good solution for full house internet
I own a two story house and the router is upstairs connected to my hard-wired work computer. Streaming video to our devices downstairs was definitely slower than upstairs. It is problematic at best!
Bought this and it keeps dropping wifi signal and has been nothing but a headache. Have placed it ALL over the house but still keeps dropping out. Had my ISP to check Modem and router and all is fine. The Belkin unit just doesn't work! Even when it says its working it isn't. Really disappointed!Lire l'avis complet...

Works better than anticipated
My in-laws had terrible Wi-Fi service due to the distance they sit from their router. When using Facetime or YouTube, their I-pad would often pause and they would sit idle waiting for the content to load. We purchased Belkin 600N amplifier for them and had it sent to their house. For the most part, they are both computer illiterate. The installation was so simple that they were able to do it themselves in a matter of minutes. They Facetimed us instantly to say thanks and show us how well it worked . They are thrilled that they can now see the Grand Children without losing video. Excellent solution, as simple as it gets
Wow, it even has antennas! Have you noticed that most routers and Ethernet devices don't have antennas these days. Well, I guess that makes them look better and makes them smaller, but my new computer had a wireless interface without the external antennas. It no longer worked reliably at a distance of about 70 feet through one floor and three walls. What to do? This extender solved the problem. Plug it into an outlet about halfway between my router and my computer. Go to the computer and open a configuration web page to allow the extender access to the router. Done. Very easy to set up with cell phone. Husband needed extender for internet radio to work in our attached garage. Works fairly well. There is foil backed insulation in wall between house and garage. Works but gets to hot.
This is the 3rd one of these I have bought. The problem with these are they get very hot an the Internet stops working. You have to unplug it and let it cool off.. It also has to be reset also. But when it works it is good.Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent Product
This is an excellent product. It has helped keep my signal consistent in the areas of my home that were previously hard to reach. It was slightly confusing to set up but once youtubing the step by step process I realized what I was doing wrong. Then it worked perfectly.
