Effective and inexpensive noise/hum reduction unit

Not much to say here: simple and easy to use, doesn't require power, gets the job done. Made a world of difference in my hum-plagued system. Does not completely eliminate the hum/noise, but brings it down to a point where you can't really hear it unless the room is quiet and you are listening close to the speakers. Definitely helped with my ground loop hum. Sturdy build, solid.

This older home has a ground loop hum and it's nasty. Anytime my EQ audio cables are introduced to the system I get hum, doesn't matter if it's on or off, this never happened at other places I've lived. Thought I'd try this little unit out before calling an expensive electrician in to do a proper diagnosis and fix. I was skeptical if it would work, to my surprise it did. My EQ RTA display still shows the hum (you can kind of see it in the photo on the orange screen to the left), but it's been reduced by a good 90%-95% audibly. I can barely hear it in the line with my amp on and sitting idle. The hum did not change based on volume and nor does it now, may also be considered a 60 cycle hum. Pretty good little box for the price. Sturdy build and I like that it comes in a black colored casing instead of just white, blends in with my studio setup better.Lire l'avis complet

Trust Behringer to Get it Right

Best hum cancellation.

I've tried ART and Morley and I am stumped by the performance of this unit. Solid, compact and works at cancelling over 90% of all hum. I plugged in my guitar that acts like a SETI antenna and it was the quietest it's ever been.Lire l'avis complet

Excellent piece of kit! Did just what I needed...removed the noise. Recordings are now free of the noise and hum.
