If you want a strong single player story, I would suggest another game like Mass Effect 2; but Bad Company 2 has a reasonable single player. The main focus of this game would be the online pitting you against people shooting at you, tanks blowing stuff up and the endless fun with the choppers. The game play may not be realistic, but once you dig your feet into the system and teamwork; this game will be awesome especially if you have friends. Great game series for the PC

Great game, much better than Call of Duty in my opinion, but those games are also very different from each other. Call of Duty is more arcade-y with small teams on small maps and quick matches. Battlefield is more strategic with large teams on very large maps and games that can last for 30+ minutes. Battlefield is also much more balanced than the newer Call of Duties, but there are also fewer guns and attachments to deal with. Overall I would say I prefer Battlefield Bad Company 2 more than Modern Warfare 3 or any of the other recent shooter. It's just a good game.Lire l'avis complet...

Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Battlefield Bad Company 2 was a great game, I highly recommend it for any fan of shooter games, but video issues detracted from game play (I was using an Nivdia 8500 with 512MB of video memory). There were some dropped frames and some shadows, shading, and blank areas, but the game was still very enjoyable.

It is very good, but not as good as the first game. Of course it could be that the video problems caused me to think the first game was better. I had played the first game on Xbox 360 and PS3. I would recommend the console versions over the PC version just because of the video problems.

In the past I have played PC games without any video problems, games like: Crysis Warhead, Call of Duty 4 modern Warfare; Dead Space, Mass Effect 2, Bio Shock 2, and more. But for some reason Battlefield Bad Company 2 had the video problems. (but I did get the PC version for $25.00 less than the console version.)

There appeared to be more cursing and more religious bias than in the first game. For example: in one part a team-member compares belief in Jesus to belief in the Easter Bunny. And the four letter words were very plentiful.Lire l'avis complet...

Bad Company 2... Bad it was released for PC.

The game has something most don't - destructible terrain. Once you get past that, for every obvious shot taken by the single-player 'campaign' script writers, you have an equally annoying flaw in the game or it's design. Some of these issues carry over into multiplayer, or are overshadowed by entirely different problems (spawning in Multiplayer becomes particularly cumbersome when you find yourself being spawn camped - as you'll be dead before you've even loaded from the selection screen).

All in all, this game is a poorly hashed port from console to pc and I wouldn't purchase it or any other game in the series again. If given the opportunity by EA to either receive a free copy of all of their battlefield games to date, or my money back on this particular title - I'd opt for a refund.

That isn't to say it's entirely garbage. The long distance characteristics of the sniper and vehicle rounds are amusing. Almost "realistic", but again shortcomings abound - where regular munitions (bullets) are implemented: sniper and vehicle rounds are the only one's that seem to respond to gravity at all. Bad Company 2 is awesome!

This title is DICE's answer to MW2, and what an answer it is! The sound effects in this game are the best that I have ever heard. The visuals are stunning. The combat is simply fantastic. Although you may not always be with your squad, you always feel like you are playing on a team. The distinct classes facilitate cooperation by giving each player a role. Assault is the class for ammunition and straightforward shooting. Engineer is the anti-vehicle and repair class. Medic keeps you or alive or brings you back. Recon spots and snipes (and uses C4).

All that is the good stuff, now for the bad. Unlocks. You have to unlock some fairly critical items in multiplayer. For example, the repair tool has to be unlocked for the engineer. Now, it does not take too much time to unlock any of the core tools, but it will take a little. Also, the game does have a learning curve. As 1up.com said, this game goes at 40fps whereas MW2 goes at 60fps. What does that have to do with difficulty? You have to think and work together or you will die! Once you are used to thinking and then leaping, this game delivers an exceptional mutliplayer experience.

A quick word on the single player campaign. It was rock-solid. Although not an epic, it was fun and interesting. I might never played the single player campaign in MW2 again, but I am already playing Bad Company 2's a second time.

This game is so much fun to play especially for the on-line gamer. The environments are well designed and offer the single or multi-player many options to choose from. The current version allows you to shoot rocket propelled granades and tank shells to blow away parts of buildings that exposes enemy combatants to your fire and takes away sniper positions. The graphics renderings are very detailed and you will need a graphics card that supports this game. When playing if you get blackouts on your screen or choppy frame rates you can try and lower your screen resolution to see if the game is playable otherwise a better graphics card will be required. Overall this is another fun EA game in the tradition of Call Of Duty. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you enjoy first person shooters.Lire l'avis complet...

A good online game

I heard a lot of people having trouble with the game but for me it ran just fine. The patches did screw up my single player a couple times so I just did it on easy and spent 6 hrs straight to finish up the single player.

Where the game shine is the online player. I had so much fun with it I can't even say in words. if you have a few friends or join a clan you can easily feel the teamwork element of the game, AND that's the way it suppose to be!

There are things that need to fix/ improve but overall I'm really satisfy with the game.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 - Awesome

This is the best first person shooter I have ever played. I am a battlefield veteran, going all the way back to BF1942, and they have really made an interesting and unique game here. The single player story line, unlike BF2, is interesting and fun to play. If an enemy is hiding in a building, no problem, just focus enough firepower at the structure and you can blast away his cover! the physics of this game are exceptionally realistic.

This is a excellent first person shooter game, very good graphic.
One thing i don't like much, is too much and long preview video and talking, every level when you done and before, you go to the next level. I hope game maker make some game in the futher shorter and less preview video and talking.
