earthlings win again

This is probably the most realist of all of this type of movies. This evil oufit from who knows where who want to kill us off. The combat scenes are very realistic. WE win as usual. I am afraid in real life we probably would not win. Their techology is so advanced we would be in a lot of trouble. I don`t think we would survive. The aztecs, incas and the america indian didn`t do to hot when they went up against a superior group. I am afraid we would be wiped out quickly. Why even launch an attack? Why not just hit us with an alien virus that is genectaly programed to kick in in 1 year and kill us all on the spot? 95% of the human pop would be wiped out in 1 day, come in and mop up.
Back to the movie this is well written, the plot is 100% believable. The acting is quite good. The movie should have done much better at the box office, it was not promoted very well I saw it 7-8 tImes when it first came out. This is every bit as good as STARSHIP TROOPERS BACK IN THE 90`S.Lire l'avis complet...

My Favorite Movie

Battle Los Angeles has been my favorite movie since I first watched it on Netflix. At first I had no intentions of watching it as I heard it did not get good reviews when it was in theaters. I decided to give it a go since there was nothing else that interested me on Netflix. Since then I watched it hundreds of times until it was finally removed, so I bought it on DVD. Aaron Eckhart is a super underrated actor, and is also one of my favorites now after watching this movie. Do not listen to all those critics. If you like a good scifi war movie, then give it a chance and decide for yourself. It is not the greatest movie and is not perfect, but it is enough of a good movie that satisfies my watching needs time and time again.Lire l'avis complet...

Awesome movie!! Great action && better than other alien movies! [=

I got this movie for my dad on Father's day as a gift. It just came out on DVD, so my dad never saw it before. My dad loved the movie and watched all the special features things also. This was a very good movie compared to other unsatisfying alien movies. This was definately better than most. A lot of action, which my dad and I like in movies. 1 Star Rating is all this DVD deserves

This movie was a mis-mash of previous and already done movies. The acting was very poor I had to keep reversing the audio just keep understanding what they were saying. Special effects were way to fast and plots and subplots were again confusing. In one point they are trying to figure out how to kill Alien foot solders and keep digging into what looks a like a big blob of Jello. Then they fine the heart OK then they pass the word along to other aim for the heart. Movie could have been a better had they slow down the pace and remove some of the actors they had to many. Buyer be were if you pay more than the costs of a movie ticket you are paying way to munch. I watch it on Sat for free

Great deal, very entertaining movie. A "sleeper movie" with good acting and good action.

Great Sci-Fi film with incredible CG

I love science fiction, and have enjoyed movies of the past like The Day After Tomorrow, Independence Day, District 9, and even 2012.

Battle:LA plays out like a single movie version of Band of Brothers, with the excellent alien special effects of District 9, in a Black Hawk Down kind of feeling. Overall it is a very entertaining view on alien invasion, seen through the eyes of soldiers.

If you hate sci-fi, you'll hate this. If you like sci-fi, you are in for a treat... a really interesting film you will probably want to watch again and again.Lire l'avis complet...
