An worthy start for a person new to Batman comics

I am a huge fan of Batman, have been since i was a small kid.
however i never did get into the comics. i figured "year one" would be the place to start. i was very pleased to say the least, Frank miller's writing is fantastic, and the artwork is very "Batman". If you are like me, and looking to start reading some batman comics, i would without hesitation, recommend "Year One" as a good place to start. i really enjoyed it, and will be buying more Batman graphic novels in the future.Lire l'avis complet...

This book is awesome and has been added to My collection. Nicely written. It is made well and looked new even though it was advertised as used and in good condition.

Batman year one

I bought this book for two reasons, first, because I loved the Dark Knight movie and Chris Nolan used this book to help write the script so I wanted to see were he got some of his ideas. Second, I was fling up North for a wedding and I needed some thing to read on the plane.

All in all this is a good book. Good story and art work from Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli. If you are a Batman fan, or a fan of the new movies like me, I highly recommend this book.Lire l'avis complet...

An incredible noir - ish take on the Dark Knight....if you're a Batman fan, you need to read this!!!!

This retelling of Batman's origins is simply fantastic. Frank Miller does an extraordinary job to recreate Gotham for a younger generation.
