Confused by saying no scratches, scuffs, etc..... However each disc had lots of scratches to my observation.... Fortunately played in my my DVD player just fine. would not have purchased if i knew there were this many scratches on them. but thanks for selling these to me!Lire l'avis complet...

NICE MOVIE , NEVER DIE :)

If there's only one thing DVD's should be applauded for, it's for giving old classics a new lease of life, and this particular title was destined for digital before anyone even knew what digital was. The Back to the Future Trilogy will, in most of us, invoke the same feeling of overwhelming nostalgia as when veiwing the original Star Wars trilogy.

It's been such a long time since I've viewed the original and wow, why did I wait so long before re-stepping back into the familiar DeLorean and riding through one of the most cleverly scripted and tightly paced films in history. I was blown away all over again by what the makers achieved in terms of, pretty much, everything. The performances are every bit as convincing and funny as you will remember and the sight of the DeLorean taking hair spin turns and breaking the time barrier only serve to ingrain this film deeply in your subconscious. It's simply what it set out to be, a thrill ride of honest intensity and adrenaline populated by sincere and truthful human characters that you generally care about.

The second part is, in more ways, even more successful. The plot is so tightly woven and controlled that you can't help but gasp at how much detail is included, from the Mc Fly family history to the correct way to turn on lights in the future. And for visual candy, you cannot beat the beauty of the flying DeLorean.

How much you enjoy the third will ultimately depend on how much you like westerns. While obviously retaining the style, wit and bravado of the BTTF legacy, it is alot more digestable in terms of plot and even set pieces. Though as a film by itself, it is a wonderful achievement in entertainment, viewing the installments in order may lead you to feeling ever so slightly let down by a conclusion to the one of the most twisted and brilliant trilogies ever to take place outside of a galaxy far, far away.

Keeping in tradition to the BTTF stamp of excellence, the extras on the DVD hit eighty eight miles per hour from the get go and rarely let up. Embarrassing other lesser DVD boxsets with it's desire to leave no stone unturned, we get 'on location' and retrospective documentaries examining the aspects and realities that the film makers endured in order to bring this adventurous tale to the silver screen. Cast and crew remincese fondly about how everyone involved was so excited about the potential of the script and the freshness that Michael J. Fox brought to the production. The star himself even sits in for a few interviews, giving himself wholeheartedly to talk about the movies that made him a household name.

While a frankly shocking reason is given to explaining Crispin Glover's absence in BTTF part 2 and therefore, all the extras thereafter, it is the absence of Doc Emmett Brown himself, Christopher Lloyd, that resonates most of all. Why he was not included in this celebration of the trilogy goes unexplained and therefore, unforgiven.

This minor gripe aside, this box set is for everyone who managed to hop onboard the DeLorean first time around. For others, this is the perfect medium and compliation to catch up with the time travelling duo as they were meant to be seen. What more can be said of this 30 year old icon of a movie?
Brilliant premise and plot, perfect cast of characters. It's about life, how a young teenager seeks to better the circumstances of his family life using a time machine.

Good fun.

These are legendary films that for some reason I just hadn't seen. I have now!
The movies are absolutely great. There is much energy and there is always something happening. It is also great to look into the past.
These time travel movies never get old.
The script is uniformly superb in all 3 versions, and to me that is what really makes them "believable" within the context of a pure fantasy. Plus, although all the "science" in the 3 films is "bad science", which for a scientist makes it even funnier, they don't overlook any details. They always offer a "science" explanation for what Doc is about to do, even though it is completely nonsense.Lire l'avis complet...

80s Classic!

How can anybody NOT like these movies? Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd are brilliant, along with a fantastic supporting cast that round things out well. Good, fun entertainment. GREAT MOVIE engaging characters and interesting plot

I love this trilogy, it really brings out the kid in me! the story is unbelievably realistic and they do a great job connecting the entire story. I found the characters very engaging and easy to cheer on while they struggled to complete their mission on time. I also found the plot fascinating and easy to follow and understand. The definitive time travel saga!

In a unique saga that spans a total of 130 years (1885-2015), the time travel adventures of Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Dr. Emmett L. Brown (Christopher Lloyd) have become a favorite of people the world over. The "Back To The Future" trilogy is perhaps one of the most unique and original film series ever to be produced. Starting in 1985, Marty travels back 30 years to 1955 when his parents were teenagers. There, he enlists the aid of a younger Doc Brown to help him return to the future from where he came. Things become more intriguing when Marty goes 30 years ahead in time to straighten out a problem with his children in 2015. Returning to 1985, things have become drastically altered. It is up to Marty and Doc to save the day. They return back to 1955 to repair the problem that changed their present. Matters only get worse when Doc gets stuck back in 1885. Marty travels back in time to help out Doc, who by this time has fallen in love with a pretty school teacher. Marty and Doc make one last ditch effort to return to 1985. The entire series broke new ground in story-telling, character development and visual effects. We were introduced to the Tannen clan (all perfectly played by Tomas F. Wilson), Lorraine (Lea Thompson) Marty's children Marty, Jr. and Marlene (Fox), and Clara Clayton (Mary Steenburgen). One of the more interesting moments in Part 2 is actually seeing Fox, Lloyd and Wilson each appear as multiple characters onscreen simultaneously. bring me back to the future!

As an avid Back to the Future fan, this trilogy set is perfect for me. I can watch these films over and over again, and it's awesome to have them on DVD now!

Anyone who hasn't seen these classics is certainly missing out! The story follows the adventures of Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Doc Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd) and their adventures from time. From 1885, 1955, 1985 and 2015.. there's non-stop action and fun along the way!

The set includes all 3 movies in wonderful picture and sound quality. The movies are as fun as ever!

Lots of bonus material is included on each disc for each movie. Deleted scenes, Makings of, Bloopers, and much more! Many of the interviews were done back on the set years ago! Hours of fun and information for the Back to the Future fan!

Back to the Fun

Imaginative Funny Engaging. An amazing cast of characters. The original is of course a classic, but 2 is excellent and 3 is great, way undervalued. Back to the Future 3 is my personal favorite.
