This is the best synth pedal out there, 11 wave types and 11 modulations for a total of 121 synth sounds, that beats ehx synths' 9 sounds by an exponential margin. Absolutely perfect; I've been waiting for this for 40 years - TONS of great synth sounds, no latency, no clunky added pickups and MIDI cables and glue residue on your guitar finish, you can use your string bending and vibratos no matter what the sound, every sound is polyphonic, the price is reasonable, and the size is that of a normal Boss pedal, not a small U-Haul truck - a dream come true in every single respect. Boss does it again

I own a Boss me80 that can create just about any sound I desire. What it doesn’t have is rich synth sounds like nothing I’ve ever heard! Amazing pedal that can let a guitarist play guitar and keyboards on songs like Rush’ Tom Sawyer.

Boss Sy-1.

There is a learning curve. You have to learn how to play your guitar to match the instrument you have selected. Example: if the organ is selected Barr chords don’t sound right. Just playing a root and a third sound okay or a root and a fifth. In my opinion the Barr chord doesn’t sound right. Amazing selection of sounds.
