worth the money and the install time. Good product.
It installed fairly easy the key deal gave me a bit of trouble at first, not sure if it was the lock or me not doing something right but it finally worked and its fine. The hood lock gives a great deal of peace of mind knowing that some one can't just open your hood and do what they want in just a couple of seconds. Great product at a great price
This lock is the same one that can be found in online Jeep accessory sites, but for a few bucks less (cheapest I could find anywhere). Lock works with your Jeep key, so no need to carry around an extra key- which is really helpful. I bought this for my Gladiator- so the grill insert that comes in the kit just gets tossed. The template included in the kit, to help you cut out the grill, is not correct (as is noted in other user comments across the internet) so be sure you check the location of the lock and cut the grill only after you have lined it up where you want it (measure twice, cut once). Excellent quality, highly recommend.
Excellent quality, easy to install, provides under-hood security that my Wrangler was lacking. I ended up using bolts and lock washers to secure the unit instead of buying a rivet gun big enough to handle the supplied rivets. The hardest part for me was figuring out how to remove the grill without damaging it, but you can look up videos on how to do it.Lire l'avis complet...

Easy to install punk stopper
I wanted a way to lock my new Jeep JL hood and this certainly does that. Installation went in easily even with my arthritic hands. Seems to be of high quality and everything works as described.
