Nice model, but fragile with poor instructions.
This is a very nice, albeit, fragile model of a auto carrier trailer (cb'ers term "rolling parking lot"). The fragility is due to the fact that it is very true-to-scale. You can't help that. It is a model for an experienced modeler. Only serious complaint is the instructions - which have a couple of very grainy photos and no diagrams to help with the assembly instructions. This is really unforgivable today with all the digital graphics applications that are available. The photo with this ad was more helpful than the instruction sheet!Lire l'avis complet...

Great detail, extremely versatile
HO scale car carriers are hard to find, and this is one of the best ones out there. The trailer is highly detailed without any filled gaps between the frame pieces, and there are plenty of small details such as rivets and ladders. The head rack for the tractor is compatible with most HO scale semis of any era, adding to the versatility of the model. The only real flaw of the model is that the front upper deck is placed a little too high, but it's not noticeable unless you either use a really tall vehicle like an SUV or display the truck near a bridge or tunnel. Most of the ramps on the trailer are not moveable, but there is one exception in a small sliding ramp that allows you to extend the length of the trailer from 48 scale feet to 50 scale feet. I'd highly recommend this trailer to any truck modeler, especially if they want to quickly amass a fleet of car carriers.Lire l'avis complet...

Good detail
The kit was significantly less expensive than the price of a "built" one. The instructions could have been clearer, but after considerable study I figured it out.
