Overall good tool

I have a $800 Matco borescope. I feel like the picture on it is lacking considering the price of the tool. I bought a Maxisys Elite, so for the prices, this borescope seemed like a good addition. The picture on this is about the same or maybe slightly worse than the Matco unit, but for the price, it works well enough and is a great accessory for the Maxisys. The USB cord could be longer, but I imagine an extension would work.Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent resolution. Good replacement for HF 60695

I had been searching for a replacement camera for my HF model 60695 inspection camera. My search was fruitless for 3 years. I took a gamble and ordered the 8.5 mm. Autel camera. It fit perfectly. r>Then I saw this 5.5mm camera at a good price. I thought that even is the camera didn't fit, I could always use it with the USB connector. It did fit!. The resolution was great and perfect for up-close inspecting. Plus the camera is small enough to slip through a small hole/opening.

The only downside was that the cable was not as rigid as I would have liked. Lire l'avis complet...

Works but....

Field of view is very small, but the big downfall is the depth of field is near zero. Probe needs to be almost in contact with the surface you are viewing and the unit is hard to manuever. I would spend the extra money and buy a much larger standalone system.Lire l'avis complet...
