awesome album released in 1989 2 Live Crew broke every boundary and were the first group ever to be labeled obscene and were one of the many reasons we have the parental advisory sticker for questionable lyrics. They had hits before this release but this was certified 2x platinum and their biggest album. Gotta love the use of sampling through out the album notably the use of dialogue for the intro to Me So Horny. Artists sample include Van Halen (which sued for unauthorized use of Ain't talking bout love) Guns N Roses (Sweet Child O Mine Jimi Hendrix voodoo child (slight return) Kraftwerk and a few others that escape me. An excellent cd if you are into old school rap.

This is an excellent cd if you are into old school rap. It is filled full of explicit lyrics and very strong sexual content. This is one of those cd's that almost every song on the disk is very good. Not one of those with just 1 or 2 good songs. If you are thinking about buying this cd, take it from me, just do it. I highly reccommend this to any adult.Lire l'avis complet...

Just like it was, back in the day. We used to play this at all the parties. Girls loved the stuff.It is pretty raw and sexual, but thats why its hot. Nice bass hits, clear vocals.
