Works better than you might think!

I use this unit with an upright bass and a small bass amp. has a very nice sound. I am able to turn the gain down on the amp and and still get a clean powerful sound. Awesome unit for an inexpensive home studio

This thing is great for the price. No background noise at all, perfect phantom power and great sound!

Did I get a defective unit?

The static had to compete with the crackling and buzzing. The device was used but I have read reviews describing similar problems with new units. I tried a few different applications... amp, computer etc., nothing worked. It was even noisy with nothing plugged in.Lire l'avis complet...

Simple smooth sounding preamp for the money

Was expecting it to be noisy but it's been surprisingly clean sounding. It gives my C1 an even richer sound.
