Makes connection easy

Used with iMovie to control MiniDV camera with daisy-chained Firewire adaptor

Does what it says on the box.
I daisy-chained it with a firewire connector to connect an older MiniDV camera to my Macbook Pro and it works perfectly with iMovie for reading MiniDV cassettes.

Works well. Let’s me use my thunderbolt 2 hard drives with my iMac with thunderbolt 3 ports. Still faster than usb 3.0

Great product and it's working perfectly. The condition of it was wonderful and it so handy to have since i have an older mac. The best part about this item is that is bi-directional. It works as advertised.

Good quality and stylish adapter. A bit expensive, but typical for Apple. Worked fine in my iMac to use some legacy storage devices.
