Fabulous Amish Book Series

I bought this book because I had read almost all of Beverly Lewis' books except for this series of three. My local library had #2 and #3 of this series, but not this one. Each time I went to the library I looked for this #1 book and it just never came back. So, I decided to buy this one on eBay. The book did not disappoint. It was a fabulous read and one I could barely put down. I flew through it, as well as the second and third in the series. Her writing style is hands down one of the best out there. All of Beverly Lewis Amish books are spell binding. I especially love the series that carries a family through several generations. This book is wonderful. I couldn't put it down. It is romantic without being trashy. It is the story of a young Amish woman torn between her families strict beliefs and the excitement f the outside world.

The Preacher's Daughter is written by Beverly Lewis. She writes about the Amish Orders and all their restriction that are on the people of the community. I worked for a county in Ohio as a 911 Dispatcher/Coordinater and had the opportunity to work with the Amish. I really love ready about their culture and how they live simple life. An amazing , captivating, book!!!

I have read quite a few Beverly Lewis books but this series is by far my favorite. I borrowed this book from the library to see how I liked it and I couldn't put is down. It is an amazing story about Annie Zook-a girl who was born to be an artist...but unfortunatley she was also born in an amish order where painting is strongly prohibited.
